When to Book Pizza Catering
Lead time is less about our calendar and more about yours. Events with fixed venues and many vendors need early commitment; a Tuesday office lunch does not. Here is what each window realistically looks like.

6-12 months out
Weddings and large peak-season events. Lock the date once the venue is confirmed.
1-3 months out
Corporate holiday parties, fundraisers, graduation season backyard events.
2-4 weeks out
Standard private parties and most office lunches — comfortable lead time for any date.
3-7 days out
Workable for most weekdays and many weekends, subject to crew and dough availability.
Under 72 hours
Accepted when inventory allows. Call rather than submit a form; speed matters.
What a rush booking needs from you
Short-notice dates succeed or fail on information. Have the exact address, guest count, service window, setup location and any dietary needs ready in one call. Anything that requires a callback — a venue contact, a gate code, a certificate of insurance request — costs hours you do not have.
Venue-controlled sites are the usual blocker, because insurance and vendor approval take business days regardless of how fast catering can move. Residential events have no such dependency, which is why backyard bookings are the easiest to turn around quickly.

Timing questions
How far ahead should a wedding be booked?
Six to twelve months for peak-season Saturdays is realistic, mostly because venues and other vendors lock in that far out and catering has to align with a timeline that already exists. Off-season and weekday dates are far more flexible.
Can you take a booking with a few days' notice?
Often, when dough inventory and crew availability allow. Cold-fermented dough is batched days in advance, so the limit is stock and staffing rather than willingness. A phone call gets an immediate yes or no; a form submission may not.
What is the busiest time of year?
May and June for graduations, then the December holiday-party stretch. Saturdays in those windows fill first, and last-minute availability is genuinely scarce compared to the rest of the calendar.
